Join Believe Literacy is Possible: Unlock Reading Potential
Literacy and Critical Thinking is a free professional learning community where educators work together to develop their students’ reading proficiency and critical thinking skills, two related and essential skill areas that all children need to master in order to succeed in life. We will explore proven strategies and best practices for improving the complex and interactive process between students and text.

Community members will collaborate with peers and reading experts on topics such as:
  • How to improve literacy skills to get students to grade level and achieve ongoing success
  • Applying critical reading skills to all academic subjects
  • Ways to individualize learning for every student
  • Providing a dynamic learning environment that engages all learners
  • Helping students overcome reading challenges
  • Employing close reading and reading for a purpose
Classroom teachers, reading specialists, librarians, and all education professionals are invited to join, learn, and share!
