Join Preserving the Planet
Preserving the Planet is a free professional learning community that connects scientists with educators and students to help them learn about changes in the global environment and natural world, and what we can do to create a more sustainable future.

The community will host edWebinars that will focus specifically on helping teachers inspire and guide students with science, research, and exploration to gain a better understanding of the natural world and their place in it. The community will provide an online network where educators can collaborate with peers on how to bring lessons of environmental awareness into the classroom. Recent reports on climate change and human impacts on biodiversity make it ever more urgent that students study and research these issues for themselves, and consider careers in the many fields that can impact the future of the planet and human society.
